Suspended in the garden of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich for three weeks, hanging candy pressure [bees takeover] consists of devalued euro banknotes and sugar. During the exhibition, the academy's bee colony discovered the sculpture as a new food source and gradually consumed it, leaving only fragments behind.
The work stages value as a temporary condition rather than a stable property. The bees' attraction to refined industrial sugar transformed the sculpture through an uncontrolled process of consumption, exposing how systems of value remain inseparable from extraction, circulation, and decay.
