From the first written artefacts to our digital communication, the non-verbal level, which is mostly expressed in emotions, is physically translated back into a tactile form via engraving. The signs on the modified “magic keyboard” show the characters of the most commonly used emojis in 2021. Where is our language heading, what will be gained and what will be lost?
