“money bag“ shows a transparent training bag stuffed with devalued euro notes. Inflation becomes portable and tangible, almost a fad. At the same time, a reference to digital (crypto) currencies emerges, in which the communities also speak of „bags“ (wallets). The work rises questions about our money and consumer behaviour and its further development in digital contexts, as well as about physical values in finance. How long will we continue to pay with cash? How do we transport the ever-increasing amount of notes if the decline in value continues to increase rapidly? How can values remain tangible and the process of value change be communicated in a socially transparent way?
