PHANTOMBESITZ brings together early works that examine value, media circulation, and digital image production through sculpture and installation. Screenshots, devalued euro banknotes, sugar, marble, magnets, and display structures appear as distinct material systems through which contemporary economies of visibility and exchange begin to take shape.
Rather than presenting these works as a closed series, the exhibition establishes an open constellation in which questions of value, circulation, and material translation first emerge as recurring themes. Many of the conceptual and material strategies developed here would later expand into the Wertschöpfungspapiere and Datenkörper bodies of work.
