Datenkörper [enabled kim]
2024
laser engraving on marble, server rack, screenshots
20 x 30 x64 cm

The three sculptures blazing network (tape) (2022), Datenkörper [enabled kim] (2024), and 1 night in Paris (2024) form a thematically connected trilogy that explores the cultural and economic impact of celebrity sex tape scandals. Each work centers on a specific case—Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian, and Paris Hilton—featuring laser-engraved screenshots on marble slabs housed in server racks. By solidifying ephemeral online media into stone, the installations expose how the circulation of intimate content intersects with systems of visibility, profit, and control, inviting reflection on the role of media in shaping cultural memory and personal value.
